The story behind Guy Lively began with a family road trip to Colorado. The co-founders, Jay and Heidi, along with their two teenage boys, were crammed into the car for the long drive from Minnesota. As the hours passed, the need for fresh air and clean surroundings became increasingly apparent.
 
When they finally arrived in Colorado, the family spent their time hiking and biking through the beautiful Rocky Mountains. However, the effects of the car ride lingered, and they found themselves longing for a way to smell fresh and clean once again.
 
Inspired by the beauty of nature surrounding them, Jay and Heidi came up with the idea of creating a line of men's skincare products that harness the power of natural ingredients. They were determined to create products free of harsh chemicals and other harmful ingredients often found in traditional skincare products; and instead, incorporate natural and effective ingredients that provide numerous health benefits.
 
Their passion for natural skincare soon led to product development, with a focus on finding the most effective and environmentally-friendly ingredients. They worked tirelessly to create a line of products that would meet their high standards, and after countless hours, Guy Lively was born.
 
Today, Guy Lively is based in the small town of La Crescent, Minnesota, and is dedicated to providing outdoor enthusiasts with the most natural and effective men's skincare products available. The company continues to grow, but its commitment to using responsibly-sourced ingredients and packaging remains unwavering.
